Monthly Fuel & ETS Surcharges - Petroleum Tank Farm
As a result of the IMO 2020 regulations, all shipping providers
are required to impose and adjust fuel surcharges each month in
line with the current barrel prices.The fuel surcharges will vary
each month but in some instances, they may vary during the month.
Petroleum Tank Farm Our Petroleum Tank Farm consists of twenty nine (29) major above ground on site storage tanks. Surrounded by a reinforced concrete containment wall that exceeds the states requirements containment ensures the protection and safety of handling commodities of this nature. No.6, No.4 and No.2 Diesel Oil, AviationKerosene and Liquid asphalt allow us to offer our customers a varied product base.
Please note, as of 1st January 2024, amendments to the EU Emissions Trading System (ETS) will result in an additional surcharge being applied to all shipments in the following circumstances:

Please note, as of 1st January 2024, amendments to the EU Emissions Trading System (ETS) will result in an additional surcharge being applied to all shipments in the following circumstances:
- Voyages travelling within the EU or whilst the ships are within EU ports (100% of emissions),
- Voyages starting or ending outside of the EU (50% of emissions). This allows the other country to determine the action they will take for the remaining share of emissions.
- The United States have announced that a similar system will also be introduced on United States domestic routes and United States-EU routes, but there has been no confirmation on the dates that this surcharge will come into effect
We have recently made some changes to our Fuel Surcharges
document to include the ETS Surcharge. Guidance on calculating
the appropriate fuel surcharges for your vehicles on each route
has been included to help make it as quick and easy as possible
to get the correct figure.
